Golf 2017 raises over $50,000 for Local kids

The 2nd Annual Ryan Ellis Charity Golf Classic proved to be another huge success raising over $50,000 to help local Hamilton area kids.

The majority of the proceeds from the sold out charity event will be used to purchase new playground equipment and re-develop existing playgrounds within the City of Hamilton through Ryan’s Elly4Kids Foundation. Last year’s tournament raised $43,000 with $30,000 going to the city, $2,000 to the AM 900 CHML’s Christmas Tree of Hope, and a further $2,000 to the Christmas Children’s Celebration at Cathy Wever School. Funds from Golf 2017 held in June were used to renovate North Central Park in west Hamilton.

Ryan Ellis of the Nashville Predators poses with the Clarence Campbell (NHL Western Conference Champions) Trophy at his Annual Charity Golf Tournament on June 29th.
